Gastronauten Institute (GI) donated whiteboards to the African Widows and Disabled Foundation (AWD Foundation). AWD Foundation is a Ghanaian wholly-owned NGO, incorporated in 2014 under the Ghana Companies Act 1963 (ACT197) as an entity limited by guarantee with registration number CG093762014 to assist the physically challenged and widows to claim their rights, erase prejudices and overcome their ignoble plight so they can have access to the health-care and secured life situation in line with the human rights laws of Ghana and Africa.
The AWD Foundation’s Executive Director, Michael Sackey, expressed his appreciation for GI’s kind gesture. He said, “through the donation, AWD Foundation was able to accomplish some our their goals for the Good Shepherd Orphanage home school. The donation is going towards some of the academic challenges at the Good Shepherd Orphanage Home school..”
GI’s donation of whiteboards is a testament to its commitment to giving back to society. With this kind gesture, we are helping to make the world a better place for those who need it most.
