6 month training course in the basics of refrigeration technology
- Program Description
A 6-month training course in the fundamentals of refrigeration provides participants with the necessary knowledge and practical skills to work successfully in the refrigeration and air conditioning industry. This training focuses on the basic principles of refrigeration, its applications and the maintenance and repair of refrigeration systems. Participants will learn how refrigeration is generated, transferred and utilized, and will receive hands-on experience that will qualify them to work as a refrigeration technician or installer.
- Program Objective
The goal of this program is to provide participants with the basic knowledge of refrigeration, including how refrigeration systems work, refrigerant selection and installation, and refrigeration maintenance and repair. At the end of the program, participants should be able to safely install, maintain and perform minor repairs on refrigeration systems.
- Prerequisites for Training
- Basic Technical knowledge (e.g. electrics, mechanics)
- Interested in working with technical systems
- No specific prior knowledge of refrigeration technology is required, but experience in related areas (e.g. plumbing, heating and ventilation installations) is an advantage
- Training Location
The training would be carried out at a technical school, in a specialist workshop or in cooperation with refrigeration and air conditioning companies. Ideally, the training location offers both theory lessons and practical training opportunities in real refrigeration systems.
- Degree and Certification
At the end of the program, participants receive a certificate certifying their knowledge of refrigeration technology. This certificate can be recognized by the industry and qualify participants for employment in refrigeration and air conditioning companies. You can work in a variety of fields including cold storage technology, air conditioning installation and industrial refrigeration.
Program costs and financing:
The cost of the program varies depending on the provider and training location. Funding opportunities through scholarships or programs to secure skilled workers could help cover
- Additional Learning Opportunities
- Participation in further training courses on special refrigeration techniques (e.g. use of environmentally friendly refrigerants)
- Seminars and workshops for further development in refrigeration technology (e.g. increasing efficiency, error analysis)
- This 6-month refrigeration training program provides participants with a solid foundation in a growing and promising field.
